These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Storage Cleaner mobile application ("App") and the website at swipedelete.co.uk ("Website"), operated by Guru Softwares ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App or accessing the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Website.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Storage Cleaner is a mobile application designed to help users identify and remove duplicate photos, old screenshots, similar images, and other unnecessary files from their mobile device. The App uses artificial intelligence and algorithmic analysis to scan, categorise, and recommend files for deletion.
The App operates entirely on your device. Your photos and files are not uploaded to our servers. All scanning, analysis, and processing occurs locally on your mobile device.
3. User Accounts
The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use its core features. If you subscribe to Premium features, your subscription is managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and their respective terms and privacy policies apply to your purchase.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Free Tier
The free version of Storage Cleaner provides access to basic scanning and a limited number of file deletions per session. No payment information is required.
4.2 Premium Subscriptions
Premium features are available through subscription plans, currently offered as weekly and yearly options. Subscription prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region. All prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
4.3 Free Trial
We may offer a free trial period for Premium subscriptions. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial expires. You may cancel the free trial at any time through your device's app store settings.
4.4 Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (weekly or yearly, depending on your plan). Payment is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your payment information directly.
4.5 Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store account settings:
- iPhone/iPad: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Storage Cleaner > Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Storage Cleaner > Cancel
Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period. Refund requests should be directed to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as they process all payments.
4.6 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period. You will be notified of any price changes before your next renewal, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. AI Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
5.1 AI-Powered Recommendations
Storage Cleaner uses artificial intelligence to analyse photos and files and to make recommendations about which items to keep and which to delete. While our AI is designed to be accurate and conservative, it is not infallible. AI recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees. The AI may occasionally misidentify a file's importance or category.
5.2 Deletion Responsibility
You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming all deletions. We strongly recommend reviewing items before deleting them, especially when using automated cleaning features. While the App provides a 30-day trash feature to allow recovery of deleted items, we cannot guarantee recovery of any specific file.
5.3 No Liability for Accidental Deletions
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GURU SOFTWARES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTAL DELETION OF PHOTOS, VIDEOS, FILES, OR OTHER DATA, WHETHER CAUSED BY AI RECOMMENDATIONS, USER ERROR, SOFTWARE BUGS, OR ANY OTHER REASON. This includes but is not limited to:
- Files deleted based on AI recommendations that were later deemed important
- Files lost due to software errors or device malfunctions during the cleaning process
- Files that could not be recovered from the in-app trash
- Data loss resulting from the use of the "Auto-Clean" or "1-Tap Clean" features
5.4 Backup Recommendation
We strongly recommend maintaining regular backups of your photos and files using iCloud, Google Photos, or another backup service before using any cleaning features. We are not a backup service and do not store copies of your files.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of managing and cleaning storage on your personal device. You shall not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App to develop a competing product or service
- Circumvent or disable any security or access control features
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Share or redistribute the App outside of authorised app store channels
7. Intellectual Property
The App, Website, and all related content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, software, and code) are owned by Guru Softwares and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GURU SOFTWARES, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP OR WEBSITE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY POUNDS STERLING (GBP 50.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Guru Softwares and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or Website. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
